Another Friday means a whole host of new music released for your listening pleasure! This week, we check out the latest new tracks from Joesef, METZ, YUNGBLUD and Sonny Fodera ft. Ella Eyre!

Joesef - Does It Make You Feel Good?

Following on from his debut EP ‘Play Me Something Nice’, alt-pop artist Joesef has just released the 6-track follow up ‘Does It Make You Feel Good?’. The collection includes the acclaimed breezy-pop tunes ‘Think That I Don’t Need Your Love’, ‘The Sun Is Up Forever’ and ‘I Wonder Why’ featuring Loyle Carner, plus three brand new songs. Joesef said the EP “draws a line under a relationship that I’ve written about in Play Me Something Nice,” adding: “If that EP felt more hopeful, this is the end game.” Catch Joesef live at Bristol’s Thekla next May.

METZ - Atlas Vending

Ontario-based noise-rock trio Metz have been busy with the release of their fourth studio album ‘Atlas Vending’. Coined by DIY Magazine as a ‘raw and refined’ record, fans should expect dystopian chaos and stabbing guitars especially in tracks like ‘Blind Youth Industrial Park’ and ‘Pulse’. Viscerally engaging and vocally sound, the collection has already received stellar reviews across the board and shows no sign of slowing down. They’ll be playing a special show at Leeds’ Brudenell Social Club next September, be sure to grab your tickets!

YUNGBLUD – cotton candy

Revealing the latest taste of his upcoming second album ‘Weird!’ set for release on November 3rd, YUNGBLUD has just dropped the epic new single ‘cotton candy’ and we are loving it. The artist himself is quoted saying that the track is about ‘sexual liberation’ and ‘is so important because I see and speak to my fan base, facing insecurities around sexual interaction and I want to let them know that it is ok to be EXACTLY WHO THEY ARE and have the right to unconditionally love who they want and be loved in return.’ Make sure you bag a ticket to see YUNGBLUD perform live at Nottingham’s Rock City on the 8th and 9th March 2021.

Sonny Fodera ft Ella Eyre – Wired

Anchored by a '90s dance aesthetic and sunny keyboard hooks, ‘Wired’ follows on from Ella Eyre’s summer 2020 singles ‘Careless’ and ‘Dreams’! Teaming up with the Australian-born DJ and producer Sonny Fodera, the track embodies the ultimate feel-good vibes that take you back to partying in the summer sun. Sonny Fodera will playing at Stealth’s all-dayer event in Nottingham next February so make sure you secure your ticket now!
