Nottingham’s annual charity music festival Beat The Streets aims to bring our community together to battle homelessness and raise vital funds for Framework.
The 2020 edition raised a fantastic £320,000 through a combination of ticket sales, merchandise, tombola, collection buckets, badges and bar spend at DHP venues across the city.
Every penny raised will go towards helping those in need and specifically used to employ two mental health workers with the aim of offering wrap around support to rough sleepers with complex needs.
15 bags of food were also collected on the day that will go to Emmanuel House after a brilliant response to Beat The Streets’ first ever first food bank.
In the past, Beat The Streets fundraising has enabled the Sneinton Hermitage shelter to stay open all year round accommodating more than 60 high risk service users with 14 moving on to permanent accommodation and 25 to supported accommodation.
The total raised for Framework since launching in 2018 is £242,000.
