Jon Spencer has been an innovative force in the independent music scene since the mid-80s. An acclaimed live performer, he has toured all the continents except Antarctica and has amassed a dizzying discography as the leader of Pussy Galore, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Heavy Trash, and Jon Spencer & the HITmakers, as well as with Boss Hog, The Honeymoon Killers, The Gibson Brothers, and Taxi Girls.
His collaborations include (but are not limited to) working with Steve Albini, Add N To X, Beastie Boys, Beck, Bomb The Bass, R.L. Burnside, James Chance, Coldcut, Chuck D, Dan The Automator, DJ Shadow, Einsturzende Neubauten, Guitar Wolf, GZA, David Holmes, Dr. John, Calvin Johnson, Steve Jordan, Khan, Moby, Money Mark, The Muffs, The North Mississippi All Stars, Puffy AmiYumi, The Sadies, Nancy Sinatra, Solex, Solomon Burke, UNKLE, Unloved, Andre Williams, The Bobby Lees, and Samantha Fish & Jesse Dayton.

Introducing The Dome and Downstairs at the Dome, working under The Dome London. Let’s make it easier for you to find your favourite bands, but putting it all in one place.Two amazing independent music venues, housed in a Victorian building complex (erected in 1884), originally intended to be used as a community centre and swimming baths. It has survived everything from World Wars and infernos to hardcore punk shows. They have steadily earned a reputation as two of the most vibrant and diverse music venues in London.

DISABLED ACCESSDownstairs at The Dome, our downstairs venue space is accessible to non-ambulatory persons. However, please note that we unfortunately do not have accessible toilets as we are unable to adapt the premises accordingly in our Grade II-listed building. We have a viewing platform with seating options with an accessible ramp.
The Dome, our upstairs venue unfortunately is only accessible via stairs and is therefore not accessible for non-ambulatory persons. We do, however, welcome disabled customers who are ambulatory. We can provide reserved seating, reasonably early entry and any further assistance we are able to provide in a safe manner.
