Austria’s Loudest Export Hit Just imagine the Ramones were from Austria... and permanently thirsty for beer. That’s exactly the spirit TURBOBIER brings to the table.
When it comes to sweat-soaked Austro-punk, there’s no way around this Vienna-based band. With razor-sharp guitars, an attitude you can’t fake, and a whole lot of turbo, the quartet led by frontman Marco Pogo races across Europe’s stages, leaving no doubt: these guys don’t do things half-baked. For ten years now, TURBOBIER has stood for full-throttle punk, grumpy Viennese charm („Schmäh“), brutal honesty, and a release schedule so precise even Swiss watches would be jealous: five albums in one decade – basically one every two years.
Tracks like „Insel muss Insel bleiben“ (a tribute to the Donauinsel – an island has to stay an island), „King of Simmering“, and „Fuaßboiplotz“ (football field) have become anthems and singalongs for a fiercely and continuously growing loyal fanbase that turns every show into collective madness.
In 2026, the four Viennese punks return with fresh energy: on May 1st (just in time for Labour Day), they’re dropping their new studio album „Das Leben is ein Oaschloch“ (Life is an asshole) – the perfect soundtrack for anyone who doesn’t always take life too seriously, but parties all the harder because of it.
The album will be followed by the „Das Leben is ein Oaschloch“ Tour, where TURBOBIER once again plans to blow the roofs off clubs and festival stages across Europe.
