General informationFoyers are open one hour before performance times, except for International Concert Series evenings, when they open at 6pm.
After the auditorium doors have closed, latecomers may only be admitted at a suitable point in the performance, at the discretion of the Duty Manager.
Sound levels are monitored in accordance with the conditions of the licensing authority.

Basingstoke is at junction six of the M3, and on the A33 south of Reading. Follow signs for Town Centre and brown signs to The Anvil. Parking in The Anvil car park is currently £1 from 6pm. For satnav or route planning, the postcode for The Anvil and The Forge is RG21 7QR, and The Haymarket is RG21 7NW.

Coach drop off points are outside The Anvil on Churchill Way. Coach parking is available on the opposite side of the Churchill Way dual carriageway.
The Anvil is just across the road from Basingstoke train station. Basingstoke is on the London Waterloo line; 45-60 mins from Waterloo, 30-35 mins from Southampton Central. Trains run in both directions until just before midnight.
Cycle parking is available at the front of The Anvil, underneath the car park ramp to the right of the entrance. More information on cycling in Basingstoke can be found at the BDBC Cycling website.
Basingstoke town centre bus station is a ten minute walk away through Festival Place shopping centre.
Once in the town centre, walk to The Malls shopping area near the train station. The Anvil\'s entrance is at the end of The Malls, down a flight of stairs or a ramp.
Disabled Info: Up to six wheelchair spaces are available in The Anvil, and up to two in The Forge. There is a lift to the circle level, and accessible toilets on both floors. Four free badge parking spaces are situated at the front of The Anvil, and further spaces near the lifts in The Anvil car park. Please contact the venue for more information.
