Nottingham's biggest summer party, Splendour Festival, returned to Wollaton Park for it's biggest and best edition yet! 25,000 people descended on the park to see the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Busted, Billy Ocean, Tony Hadley, Gabrielle Aplin, British Sea Power and so many more at this year's event.

alt. tickets were at the festival to capture all of the action. Take a look at our highlights!

The day kicked off with Future Sound of Nottingham winners Brotherhood, who opened the festival with their brilliant performance on the Main Stage. There was also a very welcome guest appearance from the sun!

Continuing the theme of mega talented local artists, Columbia Records artist Georgie brought her unique voice to Wollaton Park for her set on the Main Stage!

Following her triumphant live dates around the country, we were so happy to see country-soul singer/songwriter Yola Carter taking her place on stage at Splendour!

Continuing the ace live music, folk singer Will Varley brought out the crowds with his incredible live set. If you loved him as much as we did, don't forget he returns to Nottingham on 16th November for a headline show at Rescue Rooms!

After her surprise Glastonbury warm-up show at The Bodega last month, Gabrielle Aplin returned to the city for a great slot on the Splendour Festival Main Stage where fans were treated to loads of Gabrielle's hits!

After a jam packed set from former Spandau Ballet lead singer Tony Hadley, the crowd were ready and waiting for the lads from Busted to take the stage, and it was worth the wait. The trio treated fans to songs old and new, including Crashed The Wedding, Sleeping With the Light On, On What You're On, What I Go To School For and Year 3000!

We hot footed-it over across the field to watch music legend and Confetti Stage headliner Billy Ocean play to an adoring crowd!

Following a brilliant day of music, comedy and entertainment, Kasier Chiefs rounded off Splendour Festival 2017 in style!
