There have been some top new tracks released this week! Check out the round up of our favourite new singles out now.

Bonobo

Single: Shadows (feat. Jordan Rakei)

For Fans Of: Tycho, Four Tet, Caribou, Moderat

Bonobo explains: "'Shadows' was one of the first pieces in place for the new record and working with Jordan was such a joy. We’d spent plenty of time together previously. He’s toured with us and I’m a huge fan of his. He was an easy choice as a collaborator. The instrumental existed as a slow evolving throwback Detroit thing. I had people like Theo Parish and Moodyman in mind when I was making it. It’s been one of my favourites from the new album since day one."

See them live: Rock City Nottingham 8th May.

White Lies

Single: I Don’t Want To Go To Mars

For Fans Of: Bloc Party, Editors, We Are Scientists, Kasabian

The band's Charles Cave says: "‘I Don’t Want To Go To Mars’ has all the distorted bombast of White Lies best anthems neatly packed into a short story. The song follows a character seemingly being herded off Earth to live out a sterile and mundane existence on a newly colonised Mars. Fundamentally, the song questions the speed at which we are developing the world(s) we inhabit, and what cost it takes on our wellbeing.”

See them live: Rock City Nottingham 10th March, O2 Academy Bristol 19th March

Fickle Friends

Single: My Favourite Day

For Fans Of: Pale Waves, Shura, The Japanese House, Maggie Rogers

Frontwoman Natti Shiner explains: "“Have you ever tried writing a Christmas song? It’s actually very hard! When we were trying to think of a good concept we kept coming back to our own memories of past Christmases. The funny little quirks of family traditions, and things that went wrong one year. We asked our fans to send in some of their own stories and we pieced together a narrative from all of those. ‘My Favourite Day’ is sprinkled with anticipation, excitement and nostalgia, everything we wanted to add into the mix for a FF Christmas song."

See them live: Rescue Rooms Nottingham 20th Jan, Thekla Bristol 25th Jan.

Anamanaguchi, Flux Pavilion

Single: Dreams

For Fans Of: Unicorn Kid, Disasterpeace, Toby Fox, You Love Her Coz She's Dead

Critics Are Saying: "Combining the video game-inspired talents of the chiptune group with Flux Pavilion's masterful production creates a unique song that finds a dreamy middle ground between the two acts' ever-evolving sounds. With classic video game sounds sprinkled throughout, the uplifting track is a great anthem for both festivals and gaming playlists." - edm.com
