Another Friday means a whole host of new music released for your listening pleasure! This week, we check out the latest new tracks from Skinny Lister, Viagra Boys, Another Sky and The Corona's!

Skinny Lister – Shout It Out

Recorded and produced entirely in-house, Skinny Lister have just released the epic track ‘Shout It Out’ which finds itself very much at home in the Skinny Lister canon. As some of folk-rock’s rowdiest rebels, the song begs to be blasted full volume with a sea of roaring voices singing along and is also accompanied by a nostalgic music video made up of a montage of scenes from their previous live shows, which is only making us miss live music more than ever! Get ready for when life returns to normal and pick up your tickets for their UK tour next November.

Viagra Boys – In Spite Of Ourselves

With their new album ‘Welfare Jazz’ arriving on the 8th January 2021, Swedish post-punk outfit Viagra Boys have teamed up with Amy Taylor of Amyl And The Sniffers to cover ‘In Spite Of Ourselves’ by the late John Prine! Frontman Sebastian Murphy tells DIY Magazine: “When I heard ‘In Spite’ the first time I instantly had an urge to do a cover or it and I instantly knew that I wanted Amy to sing Iris Dements part because of her unique voice.” They’ll be playing live shows in Brighton and Newcastle next June, be sure to grab your tickets before they’re all gone!

Another Sky - Sun Seeker

Giving us a welcome taste of their upcoming EP ‘Music for Winter Vol.1’, four piece Another Sky have shared their latest single ‘Sun Seeker’ and we are buzzing for their next release. Recorded, produced and mixed by the band themselves at their south London studio, the EP consists of a mix of material.  NME spoke to vocalist and lyricist Catrin Vincent who said “Some songs are old, some are new, all are entirely collaborative,” Vincent explained recently. “After being kept apart because of the lockdown and writing a bunch of our second album separately, we just wanted to get back into our studio and record.” Catch the performing live in Cardiff and Bristol next May!
