Another Friday means a whole host of new music released for your listening pleasure! This week, we check out the latest new tracks from Beabadoobee, Osees, Viagra Boys and TSHA ft Gabrielle Aplin!

Beabadoobee – Fake It Flowers

After months of growing anticipation, Beabadoobee has finally dropped her debut full-length album ‘Fake It Flowers’ and it does not disappoint! Since earning over 10 billion listens on TikTok for her breakthrough bedroom-pop tune ‘Coffee’, Beabadoobee has adopted a grungier sound which The Independent describes as ‘a scuzzed-up band sound (that) gives a serrated edge to her natural sweetness’ and allows her to express herself more fiercely in tracks like ‘Care’, ‘Emo Song’ and ‘Charlie Brown’. This young artist is one to watch so make sure you’ve bagged your tickets for her show at Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms next September.

Osees – Metamorphosed

Hot off the heels of their latest release earlier this year ‘Protean Threat’, Californian psych-rock outfit Osees have just dropped a new LP ‘Metamorphosed’! Yet another scuzzy garage and kraut rock project, the records lead single ‘Electric War’ echoes the slashing and rumbling sounds of their previous work and reminds fans of why they’re so great. Lead singer John Dwyer commented on the album saying that “People need some tunes right now and I think the artists community is making a good run of it. So much great shit is seeing light right now.” We can’t wait to catch them performing it live at Bristol’s SWX this November!

Viagra Boys – Ain’t Nice

Swedish punk group Viagra Boys have recently announced that their sophomore record ‘Welfare Jazz’ will be released in early 2021, but to keep fans going until then, they’ve just dropped the new song ‘Ain’t Nice’. Check out the music video below if you’re up for watching frontman Murphy get tased by a little kid and travel back in time to the 1700s – it’s definitely worth a watch and fully in keeping with the brilliant and bizarre vibes that Viagra Boys will forever perpetuate. Catch them performing live in Brighton and Newcastle next June!

TSHA ft Gabrielle Aplin – Change

As part of her latest EP release ‘Flowers’, London-based producer TSHA recently released the teaser track ‘Change’ featuring the beautiful vocals of Gabrielle Aplin! Brimming with electronic beats and techno grooves, this track is without a doubt her most ambitious and accomplished so far. The pair met over hazy drums and acid-flecked synth-lines at a Spotify writing camp last year, and we’re very glad they did! If you like what you're hearing, pick up a ticket for one of Gabrielle Aplin’s shows in Nottingham, Bristol, Cardiff and London next March!
