This week sees some of the most iconic artists announce plans to get back on the road. From The Killers to Elton John, check out what else goes on sale this week below.

 

The Killers

Las Vegas indie icons The Killers need no introduction. Releasing some of the biggest and most recognisable tracks over the past decade – including Read My Mind, Somebody Told Me and huge floor-filler Mr Brightside – they have become one of the most exciting live bands to grace these shores.

They have announced an additional date to their Imploding The Mirage Tour at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium on 25th May alongside Stockport alt-pop favourites Blossoms.

Elton John

Elton John has confirmed his final show at Manchester Arena as part of his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour’ on Saturday 12th December. He heads to the huge north west show with an arsenal of over 30 records – featuring fan favourites Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer and I’m Still Standing – and a reputation as one of the best performers in the world.

Rufus Wainwright

Multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright will play back to back intimate shows at Islington Assembly Hall on 27th April. He will be joined by a full band as part of his ‘Unfollow the Rules’ tour, which sees him perform across the world and showcase new music – including brand new single Damsel in Distress.

Hamilton Leithauser

Washington born and New York based singer-songwriter Hamilton Leithauser will play brand new music – such as Here They Come from his forthcoming LP – as part of his The Loves Of Your Life Tour. The run of shows visits Electric Brixton on 5th June. Constantly reinventing his sound, Leithasuer is one of the most intriguing creatives and should be on everyone’s ‘to see’ bucket list.

Christina P

Comedian, writer, TV personality and co-host of the ‘Your Mom’s House’ podcast, Christina P takes her Ride or Die Tour to London’s Bush Hall on 7th April. Opening up about topics such as motherhood, marriage and her own childhood in a comical, relatable way, she is one of the most impressive all-rounders that you’ll ever see.

Therapy?

Northern Irish alt-metal outfit Therapy? have pioneered the genre over the past three decades. With recognisable tracks such as Diane, Screamager and Nowhere, they have confirmed plans to release their ‘Greatest Hits’ next month and take their iconic sound to Nottingham’s Rock City on 10th October.

Frontman Andy Cairns says “we’d love everyone to join in our celebration of three decades of noise and adversity.”

Propaganda featuring Reverend and the Makers, The Futureheads and The Holloways

Indie royalty doesn’t get much better than Reverend and the Makers, The Futureheads and The Holloways playing under one roof. Forming this year’s Propaganda Live lineup they will all play some of the most recognisable hits that continue to soundtrack our lives and fill floors in indie bars across the country.

Taking place at Rock City on 23rd October, expect nostalgia throughout.
